Position Summary

The Investment Fund Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing a portfolio of investment funds, ensuring that the investment strategies align with the company’s objectives. You will work closely with analysts and portfolio managers to identify and evaluate investment opportunities, develop fund strategies, and manage the overall performance of the funds under your management. This role requires strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and leadership abilities.

You will take on the following responsibilities:

  • Fund Strategy: Develop and implement investment strategies for various funds, ensuring alignment with market conditions and company objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track the performance of funds under management, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) and making adjustments as necessary.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with portfolio investments, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Work with analysts and portfolio managers to evaluate potential investments and contribute to overall portfolio strategies.
  • Client Relations: Communicate fund performance and strategies to stakeholders, including investors and senior management, providing regular updates and reports.

You should possess the following qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field. An MBA or CFA designation is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in fund management, with a strong track record of success in managing investment portfolios.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and risk management techniques.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to stakeholders.
  • Team Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional teams to develop and implement successful fund strategies.
